Terms of Use for Fvos

These Terms govern your use of Fvos, a mobile studio assistant for independent tattoo artists. By installing or using Fvos, you agree to the rules below. Fvos works without mandatory registration or login; your studio records are managed on your device.

What Fvos Provides

Fvos helps you run local studio operations from an iPhone, including client skin archives, allergy and health notes, a searchable design library, before-and-after portfolio comparisons, appointment scheduling with optional reminders, handwritten consent capture, and PDF export for documents you choose to share. Features may evolve between app versions, but Fvos remains a device-based workflow tool rather than a hosted studio management platform operated for you.

Eligibility and Professional Use

You must be at least the age required to lawfully operate or assist in a tattoo studio where you work, and you must have authority to use client information you enter into the app. Fvos is intended for professional studio contexts. You are responsible for complying with licensing, sanitation, consent, and recordkeeping rules that apply to your practice, which may differ by location.

You may not use Fvos for unlawful tattoo activity, to harass clients, or to misrepresent your qualifications or studio policies.

License to Use the App

We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Fvos on Apple devices you own or control, solely for legitimate studio administration in accordance with these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms that govern App Store software. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law permits.

You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute Fvos, remove proprietary notices, or use the app to build a competing product through automated scraping of its interface or assets.

Client Records and Your Responsibilities

Information you add about clients, including skin photographs, contact details, allergies, and health notes, is entered under your direction. Fvos does not verify client identity, medical history, or eligibility for tattooing. You must obtain informed consent and any legally required disclosures before providing services and before storing client data in the app.

You are the steward of client records on your device. Choose strong device security, limit access to unlocked phones in the studio, and delete records when your retention policy or client request requires it.

Consent Forms and Health Screening

Fvos includes templates and tools to build consent documents, capture health screening answers, attach signatures, and generate PDF files. Template language is a starting point for studio use and does not constitute legal advice. You should review every consent text with qualified counsel or established studio policies before relying on it with clients.

Signed PDFs and health answers stored in Fvos remain on your device unless you share them. You are responsible for the accuracy of questions asked, answers recorded, and releases presented to clients.

Designs, Photos, and Portfolio Content

You may import or capture images for design references, client skin documentation, and before-and-after presentations. You must have the rights or permissions needed for each image you store or export, including copyright for artwork, client permission for skin photography, and any portfolio restrictions agreed with clients.

Watermark text and export layouts are configurable within the app. Exported images shared outside Fvos are subject to the policies of the services or recipients you select.

Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to misuse Fvos or interfere with its operation. Prohibited conduct includes:

We may restrict or discontinue access to Fvos if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, to the extent we can do so for a locally installed app through updates or support channels.

Apple Platform and Other Third Parties

Fvos integrates with iOS features such as the camera, photo library, calendar, notifications, and system sharing. Your use of those features is also subject to Apple's terms and policies. When you sync an appointment to Calendar, send a PDF through Mail, or save an export to Photos, the receiving app or service handles that content under its own rules.

Fvos is not responsible for third-party apps, carriers, or cloud services you connect through iOS sharing or device backup settings.

Service Changes and Availability

We may update Fvos to improve studio workflows, fix defects, adjust permissions text, or respond to platform requirements. Updates may change how features appear or operate. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of any specific feature, and local data could be affected if an update requires migration or if you delete app data through Settings.

We may discontinue the app or particular features with reasonable notice when practicable, such as through an App Store update description.

Tattooing Risks and No Medical Advice

Tattooing involves inherent risks, including pain, bleeding, infection, allergic reaction, scarring, and pigment changes. Fvos does not perform tattoo procedures, supervise aftercare, or provide medical or legal advice. Health screening tools in the app are informational aids for studio documentation only.

You and your clients remain responsible for evaluating health suitability, providing aftercare guidance, and seeking medical care when needed.

Intellectual Property

Fvos, including its name, visual identity, software code, and original interface elements, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the app to you. Your designs, client notes, photographs, and consent content remain yours or your clients' as applicable, subject to the rights and licenses you already hold.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Fvos is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except where such exclusions are not permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, that consent templates meet your legal needs, or that local storage will never fail. Maintain backups of critical studio records using exports or device backup practices you trust.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, we and our affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, client data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from your use of Fvos, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to Fvos will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if you obtained the app without charge, except where liability cannot be limited under relevant regulatory requirements.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited, or for fraud or willful misconduct.

Ending Your Use

You may stop using Fvos at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing studio data through in-app Settings. Uninstalling may remove locally stored clients, images, and consent PDFs from the device unless they were copied elsewhere. We may cease offering Fvos or deny future updates if these Terms are materially breached or if required for legal or platform reasons.

Governing Framework and Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable laws and relevant regulatory requirements, without regard to conflict-of-law principles that would require applying another jurisdiction's rules. If a dispute arises from these Terms or your use of Fvos, the parties will first attempt to resolve it informally by contacting needlecraft@fvosstudio.app.

If informal resolution is not successful, the dispute shall be submitted to competent dispute resolution bodies or courts as authorized under applicable laws. You may also have mandatory consumer rights under local rules that these Terms do not override.

Terms Inquiries

Questions about these Terms of Use can be sent to needlecraft@fvosstudio.app. Include enough detail for us to understand your request and the Fvos version you are using.

These Terms of Use are effective as of August 27, 2026.
