Privacy Policy for Fvos

Fvos is a local studio assistant for independent tattoo artists. This notice explains how information is handled when you manage client skin records, design libraries, before-and-after portfolios, appointments, and handwritten consent forms on your device.

Effective date August 27, 2026
Application Fvos (iOS)

Who This Notice Is For

This Privacy Policy applies to the Fvos mobile application and describes practices relevant to tattoo artists and studio operators who use Fvos on a personal iPhone or iPad. Fvos does not require you to create an account, sign in, or maintain a cloud profile with us. Studio records you enter stay on the device unless you choose to export or share them through iOS.

Because Fvos is designed for professional studio workflows, you may store sensitive client information, including skin photographs, allergy lists, health screening answers, and signed consent documents. You are responsible for obtaining any client permissions required under your local professional rules before recording or sharing that information.

Studio Data Kept on Your Device

Fvos stores the majority of app content locally in the device application sandbox. Structured studio records are saved in an on-device data file, and images and PDFs are stored in separate folders within the same sandbox. This includes, when you choose to add them:

Fvos is not built as a hosted client database service. We do not operate a central Fvos server that receives your client lists, skin photos, or consent PDFs as part of normal app use.

When Information May Leave the Device

Data transmission occurs only in situations you initiate or when iOS platform services process information on your device as described below:

Except for the platform interactions above and any optional tracking authorization you grant to Apple, Fvos does not routinely upload studio content to our own backend during everyday use.

Device Permissions and How They Are Used

Fvos requests access only when a feature needs it. You can decline a permission and still use parts of the app that do not depend on that access.

You can review or change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

Health, Consent, and Skin Documentation

Consent forms in Fvos can include health screening questions, allergy information drawn from client records, editable release language, and a captured signature. Generated PDFs are stored locally in the app sandbox and may be shared by you. This material can qualify as sensitive personal or health-related information depending on jurisdiction and context.

Fvos provides tools to document studio practice; it does not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, or verify the accuracy of information you or your clients supply. Retention and disclosure of consent and health-related records should follow your professional obligations and any client agreements you maintain outside the app.

Third-Party and Platform Services

Fvos relies on Apple iOS frameworks for core device capabilities, including camera capture, photo picking, calendar writing, local notifications, PDF rendering, and optional tracking authorization prompts. When you use iOS share destinations, those apps or services process shared files under their own policies.

We do not embed unrelated social analytics networks in Fvos for routine studio recordkeeping. Operational messages you send to needlecraft@fvosstudio.app are handled through standard email channels and used to respond to your inquiry.

Retention and Deletion

Studio records remain on your device until you change or remove them inside Fvos, use the studio data clearing option in Settings, or uninstall the application. Clearing studio data from Settings removes clients, designs, sessions, consents, and associated photos from the device while preserving certain local app counters configured in the product.

Content you previously exported to Photos, Calendar, email, or other apps is not automatically deleted by Fvos and must be managed in those locations separately. Backups created through iTunes or iCloud device backup may include Fvos sandbox data according to your Apple backup settings.

Security Measures

We design Fvos to keep studio workflows on the device and to request permissions in context. iOS sandboxing limits other apps from accessing Fvos storage without platform-level compromise. No mobile environment can guarantee perfect security, and physical access to an unlocked device could expose stored client records.

You should use device passcodes, Face ID or Touch ID, and prudent studio practices when handling client skin images and health information. Report suspected security issues related to the Fvos app to needlecraft@fvosstudio.app.

Your Choices

You control what you record in Fvos, which permissions you grant, whether calendar sync and reminders are enabled, and whether you share or export files. You can edit or delete individual clients, designs, appointments, consents, and portfolio entries within the app. Tracking authorization can be changed later in iOS Settings under Privacy and Security.

Because there is no Fvos login system, privacy requests tied to a cloud account are not applicable. Questions about locally stored data are best addressed through the in-app deletion tools and device-level controls described above.

Children and Young Clients

Fvos is intended for professional tattoo studio use by adults who operate or work in a studio environment. Tattoo services involving minors are subject to local law and studio policy. Fvos does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a dedicated youth account, because no account system is offered.

If you believe a minor's information was entered into Fvos in error, remove the relevant client record on the device or contact needlecraft@fvosstudio.app for guidance.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Fvos features, permission usage, or regulatory expectations change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when a material update is published. Continued use of Fvos after an update means you accept the revised notice, subject to applicable laws.
